Search engine optimization advice is necessary because all of us would like to see our websites appearing at the top of Google search results. And you know that if you do not make it to the first page of the search engines you will not get visitors to your important content pages.

When I talk about Google in this article, I am also including other search engines such as Yahoo, Bing and Ask.
In recent communication from Google they made it clear that they will prioritize their users’ needs first. All else can wait.
What does that mean to us as webmasters? It is good for us because we will optimize our sites based on that underlying principle to the big Google’s requirements. Users are our number one priority as well.
You see, good search engine optimization advice should be the one that genuinely want to help search engines to look good to their users. And at the same time helping you, the website owner, to succeed online.
Google wins and you win.
How will that be accomplished?
We know that during the latest panda update Google removed majority of bad websites. These are those who were trying to serve their own selfish interests and not caring about the users.
Bad sites do not give a hoot about values, integrity, and enough good content.
Google will check out if your site interests the users and keeps them longer before they hit the back button. And if they also keep coming back for more.
If the search engines notice that you site is liked by users you’ll be rewarded by showing your site and pages in top search results. If not, you will be buried deep where your target market will not even have a chance of looking at your website.
Do you realize how important is it satisfying the users’ needs? They can make or break your internet business or career.

Anyone who is giving search engine optimization advice without emphasizing the value of users has failed you before he even begin.
Your internet success will be determined by the users, visitors, traffic or whatever the name you call them. If real human beings cast their votes to your site you will win the SEO battle, not the algorithms. Make your site for the people.
If people click to visit your site from Google and staying there long enough you are winning. If not, find out why and fix it immediately.
