In today’s demanding society even an ordinary resident needs a lot of money to buy the basic necessities. If you did not need money, then the food retailer would offer you grocery for free every month, and a construction company would also hand you a key to a new house without expecting any payment from you, a garage would give you a car and service it for free; but we see that this is not how things are done under the sun. You are required to give money and service in order to get the good you want. Now, you see how important is money and nothing will replace it in the way it's being used. And money is good because we use it to buy the things we want.
All good things come from God
"My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life", Jesus taught his disciples.
The desire to be rich is godly, and that desire is stirred by all-present God in you, who is in all, and for all.
When the desire to have more money comes to you it is a tree of life. It is a desire to have enough to buy good things you want, and to live your life to the fullest. It is God within who desires riches in your outer world for enjoyment.
God wants you to be rich so that you can be able to give gifts to the people you love, have freedom from excessive work, travel the world, do things that you want to do, and be clothed better than Solomon in all his glory.
Forget the notion that money is the root of all evil. God gave people the wisdom to make money as a unit of exchange. Behold it is good.
The stories of rich and famous people doing dumb things made many people to believe that money is bad and evil, and it does not come from God. In that way there are countless people who live in abject poverty and refuse to welcome fortunes when presented with the opportunity.
A person may have money and use it to buy alcohol to drink and end up damaging his liver and body's organs. The other one can use his money to buy the good things to enjoy and grow himself in whatever way he wants to be and become a blessing to the nation.
Therefore, it is not the money that is bad, but the person who uses it wrongly makes it seem evil. It is those who have used money wrongfully that led many people to believe that money is the root of all evil.
So, to acquire riches you need to change your attitude towards God and money. It is critically important to understand that money is part of God's creation plan. And that money is good.
If an opportunity arises to make more money than you have now, and you feel like pursuing it, then grab it with both hands. Do not waste any minute. Do not take more than two days considering it. You will never regret the day you did.
